The Linkin Park tour turned into a music festival… That's right! We are talking about none other than Projekt Revolution. Started in 2002 as a Linkin Park tour and now a full fledged Festival that donates a US dollar out of every ticket to American Forests, Projekt Revolution seems to be raising the bar for fans on expecting the unexpected.
The Projekt Revolution Festival was streamed live across MySpace last year when the tour played the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI. A CD was also available for purchase that came with a blank disc and a Projekt Revolution code, so fans could download the performance for the show they attended from the internet and burn it to their CD.
Projekt Revolution has two stages, the Main stage for the main attractions and the Revolution stage, which still has some fairly hard hitting, well-known acts and some smaller artists, tool.
Linkin Park, who will be headlining the tour, is well known for hits such as "Shadow of the Day," "What I've Done", and classic hits such as "Papercut" and "One Step Closer." The other artists on the Main stage for this tour will include Chris Cornell ("Black Hole Sun," "Cochise", "Like a Stone"), The Bravery ("Believe", "An Honest Mistake"), and Ashes Divide ("The Stone," "Keep Telling Myself It's Allright").
On the Revolutions stage, expect to see Atreyu ("Becoming the Bull", "Falling Down"), 10 Years ("Wasteland," "Beautiful"), Hawthorne Heights ("Ohio is for Lovers", "Saying Sorry"), Armor for Sleep ("Williamsburg," " Hold the Door"), and Street Drum Corps, which is a punk rock version of Stomp!

Looking forward to this summer
This looks like yet another great festival this summer. I can't wait to for Bonnaroo and Warped Tour as well.
