In May my wife, Merritt (a good friend of my wife), and I went to see Tea Leaf Green in Atlanta. The show was great and recently I ran across this article.
We were in the first row and you can clearly see my wife in the picture.
Tomorrow I'm headed to Atlanta for the Moe and Keller Williams concert. It should be a great way to celebrate the Summer Solstice. Is anyone in Zestivals land going to be in attendance?
I'm curious to see who here has traveled the farthest distance to get to a festival they, or someone they were with, wanted to see. I was trying to remember what the farthest distance away from home I have traveled for the music and unfortunately I am coming up short. 120 miles to the Y100 FEASTival back in 2000 to see Stroke 9, Moby, Oasis, Beck, and the Foo Fighters, rock the house.
Ok, post them if you got 'em. What's the farthest you've traveled to see a show and which show was it? Any great memories?
Saw an advertisement in Columbia Mall last night with the Warped Tour coming to Meriweather Post Pavilion this summer. Anyone going or know where I can pick up 4 cheap tickets?
I'm clueless on where they are going to put the ramps or even if they are going to have them there as the venue is smaller than most of the large parks they are visiting.
Patience, unfortunately, is not one of my many virtues.
I submitted a request for coveted press passes to Lollapalooza... and I have yet to hear back.
It's only been a couple of weeks, but the "sweet anticipation" is growing less and less sweet by the day. In fact, if anticipation were akin to flavor, I'd call it bitter, sour, or salty.
At this point, I am resolved to fingers-crossing, good-vibe sending & incense burning.

I'm really looking forward to some great music this summer. Hopefully Zestivals will have some good info on Bonnaroo and other tours like the Warped Tour.
